It's finally time for me to relax a bit...I am now officially on holiday, and we've go things to do.
1. enjoy ourselves
2. go to Jersey for the weekend - stay here and relax.
3. see some animals being conserved at The zoo
4. enjoy ourselves
5. go to Barcelona, or maybe just Bordeaux, or maybe as far as Toulouse, or we might just go to The Bridge.
Oh, and as far as work is concerned, we've reached a big milestone in the project I've been on for the past couple of years, and my annual review is due this month, and I've asked for more responsiblity, so hopefuly it's a time of change...which is always good fun :-)

A favourite part of my formative years was the "play what I wrote" on the Morcambe and Wise show. I hope I'll be able to stand in their shadow - way back in their shadow.
Not that I'll manage to be amusing, nor will anything I scrawl here be as well crafted. But I'll be happy if I manage to ignore my own social programming and allow a little of their anarchy, irreverance, intelligence, wit and humour to make their way onto these pages. I doubt it will happen, but I can dream.
